After meeting this wonderful couple at their engagement session a few months earlier, I knew that Alesia and Ben’s Washington beach wedding on the Olympic Peninsula would be a gorgeous blend of family tradition, beach chic, elegant details, and heartfelt moments. Photographing this wedding was a dream as a PNW wedding photographer.

After days of heavy rain, the summer weather returned just in time for a beautiful ceremony at a family property overlooking the water. The many personal details throughout the day – like an appearance by the couple’s dog, private vows on the beach, a dance floor and altar made by the father of the bride, and the groom’s best friend officiating the ceremony – made the day extra special. And the timeline was created to ease stress and fit in every special moment important to the bride and groom. On top of all of that, we were lucky enough to watch a pod of orcas moving through the water in front of the property! What a dreamy wedding day for this wonderful couple.
