There is something magical about spring in the Pacific Northwest, and this engagement session at Chateau Lill in Woodinville was the perfect reminder of why this season is one of my favorites. Timed perfectly with the cherry blossoms in full bloom, we enjoyed the most beautiful warm sunny evening. It felt like we stepped into a fairytale.

Chateau Lill provides a stunning backdrop for any type of photoshoot, but it lends itself perfectly to romantic weddings and engagements. In spring, the pink cherry blossoms, fresh green of the willow trees, and bright grasses, add a light and dreamy touch to every photograph. I love the blossoms that line the drive to the chateau, and the large willow tree sitting by the pond. Then, there are the adorable llamas! They add the cutest touch to any photos on the property.

I had a wonderful time with this loving couple. We took some time for a mix of both portrait photos and candid lifestyle moments (which are always my favorite!). Lifestyle and candid photos during any photoshoot are the best way to truly capture emotion, genuine expression, and joy. It was special seeing the two of them have fun with their evening in front of the camera. Thank you Justin and Shelby for trusting me to capture this chapter of your story! As Justin is spending the following months on military deployment, I know that both of them will treasure these photos and the special time they were able to spend together.
