Kassie | Lake Washington High School

Kassie had such an amazing senior session at Discovery Park in Seattle! We went from gorgeous golden sunshine, to beautiful sunset color. And her amazing energy and enthusiasm for creativity added so much to her photo shoot. Kassie shared her session with her good friend, which I blogged about in a separate post. Discovery Park sunshine and open spaces

Discovery Park is one of my favorite locations for taking advantage of golden light and beautiful views. We started in the upper area of the park for Kassie’s more casual looks. Her jeans and tops with casual tennis shoes were perfect for the rock wall and open meadows. I always love the tall wheat grass for any photo shoot. The color reflects the light in such a pretty way and skin tones look so warm and beautiful.

Sunset at the beach

Kassie and her friend changed into dresses and heels for the second half of our session. We went down to the beach area and lighthouse to enjoy the sunset on the water. Kassie was such a natural with walking poses and was totally game to wade into the water and get creative. I was so happy with how much variety and beautiful images I was able to get in her gallery.

Have fun and get creative

Don’t hesitate to have fun and get creative during your senior session. If you are thinking of hopping in the water, you may like to save it for the end of your session. But you won’t regret it!
