Winter turned out to be the most beautiful time in the garden for this Bellevue High School senior session. Emma’s parents bid on my senior session package at a charity auction, and I’m so glad they did. I had the best time meeting her! We really lucked out with some gorgeous winter weather. Although most seniors think that summer is the only time of year for their photoshoot, there are benefits and drawbacks in any month. And can you believe we even had some flowers? It’s been an unusual year for bloom times!

A botanical garden can be an incredible option for winter senior sessions. Most have well maintained paths or trails, a wide variety of trees and flowers, and lots of background options. Emma and I made our way to some of my favorite areas of this garden throughout her session. And I’m so happy with the variety in her gallery. I hope she loves it as much as I do!
