Reagan | Forest Ridge School of the Sacred Heart

This lovely senior chose to have her September senior portraits at a river location and Scattered Seeds Flower Farm. And I always love the combination of those two different types of locations. One is more rustic and has a cool, natural, country vibe to it. The other is romantic and colorful. It makes for a fantastic gallery with a nice blend of images!

Senior portraits at the river

We started with the river location for Reagan’s photo shoot. There were a few sprinkles but it didn’t ruin a thing. Her mom was so helpful holding an umbrella over Reagan’s head in between every pose. And we kept things moving along to get as many images as possible while keeping her hair looking gorgeous. I love her sea green dress with the colors down by the river. It has a fresh and natural look to it.

Our second stop was at Scattered Seeds Flower Farm. This is one of my absolute favorite places for senior portraits. It is colorful, romantic, and offers a huge variety of backgrounds. It’s like something out of a fairytale! There are also some covered nursery spaces, which makes it an excellent location choice as we head into fall and the weather is less predictable. The dahlias were in full bloom while we were there and pumpkins and fall decor had just made an appearance.

Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better blend of scenery between the two locations. And the little drizzle we had at the beginning tapered off by the end. It turned out to be a wonderful session and the photos turned out beautiful.
