Joel + Chelsea | Bellevue
I had the most amazing time with Joel, Chelsea, and their puppy Theo during their couples portrait session at Bellevue Park. We couldn’t have had a more beautiful spring morning! Our goal was to time their photo session so that the cherry blossoms might be in bloom. And we got it just right! The blossoms had been out for a couple of weeks so petals were drifting to the ground, with plenty still left on the trees. The result was a pretty blanket of pale pink.
I love Bellevue Park for a mix of both natural park looks and cityscapes. The sun reflecting off the buildings is always beautiful, and the large park offers plenty of space to wander. Chelsea and Joel’s puppy Theo was excited for a walk around the park. But he was so well behaved for his photo shoot!
This trio was so sweet and charming. And I couldn’t be happier with how gorgeous their photos turned out. I thoroughly enjoyed chatting with Chelsea about her upcoming wedding season as a planner with Willow & Ivy Events. And the combination of beautiful weather, blossoming trees, and perfect outfit choices, made this couples session one of my all time favorites.
