Leah and Josh’s September wedding proved why The Club at Snoqualmie Ridge is one of the most stunning Seattle area wedding and reception venues. Nestled in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains, this venue offers sweeping mountain views, beautiful light, gorgeous ceremony and reception spaces, and endless ways for a couple to create the wedding of their dreams. As a PNW wedding photographer, I can see why so many brides and grooms fall in love with the venue! With a loving couple who couldn’t stop smiling at each other and surrounded by the sweetest family and friends, this wedding was a dream to photograph from beginning to end.

From Epic Engagement Session to Stunning Wedding Photography!

I was lucky to meet Leah and Josh nearly a full year before their wedding date. One reason I offer engagement sessions as part of my traditional wedding photography packages, is because they offer the most relaxed way to get to know each other. And it’s the perfect time to shake off any nerves the couple might feel about having their picture taken! I met the couple at sunrise on Mount Baker’s Artist Point for their jaw dropping adventure photoshoot in the mountains. We enjoyed the most gorgeous early morning with clear skies and stunning views. It was the most amazing way to get to know two people so clearly head over heels for each other. And I couldn’t wait for their wedding day!

Ceremony with a View

Fast forward one year to another beautiful day. A little smoke in the air couldn’t take away from the beauty of the special occasion. Leah and Josh exchanged vows in front of family and friends with a ceremony backdrop unlike any other: mountains and rolling fairways beyond their floral altar were absolutely gorgeous. And it was something the couple were so excited to share with their family and friends visiting from across the United States and beyond.

Wedding Day Portraits on the Golf Course

After the ceremony, we ventured onto the golf course for portraits. We explored the walking paths, the manicured hills, and a quiet little pond complete with a weeping willow. Just as they did at their engagement session, Leah and Josh made everything feel effortless, and the golden hour gave every image a romantic glow. I am in love with their wedding day portraits!

Memorable Reception Moments

After cocktail hour, the celebration moved inside for a memorable reception. The evening was filled with high energy wedding party entrances, a beautifully choreographed first dance, heartfelt and emotional toasts to the couple, a delicious buffet and cake, and plenty of dancing and laughter. It was a joy to take in how much Leah and Josh are loved by every person in the room. And each reception detail was designed to showcase their love as a couple while delivering a fun night to remember.
