Dylan + Holley

I had the nicest time meeting Holley and Dylan for their Seattle engagement session in the spring. Holley got in touch with me all the way from Mississippi, and I’m so glad she did. These two are originally from Mississippi and Dylan is currently stationed here in Tacoma. He will be moving back home soon for their summer wedding. I wish they lived a bit closer! But I’m so excited for this loving couple.

Discovery Park in Seattle

Holley and Dylan decided on Discovery Park as the location for their engagement photos. I always love this location! There are so many areas to explore and gorgeous backgrounds to choose from. We lucked out with some beautiful spring weather. The sun was shining and it was a perfect Seattle evening. And good thing, since Holley was only in town for a few short days! We started and ended at the upper area of the park by the little white chapel. It makes such a pretty backdrop. Especially with the lovely blue dress Holley was wearing. We made our way around the park, wandering through the tall grass and out to the bluff for some water views. As the sun was setting, we ended back at the little white chapel for a few last minute sunset photos.

I wish this beautiful couple the most special wedding back in their hometown! I feel lucky to have been able to meet this pair and hear all about their exciting plans. An engagement session is such a nice little break from the stress of busy wedding planning. And professional photos look so beautiful on a wedding website or save the date!
