If I didn’t know better, there is no way I could believe that this senior session with Emma was in October. It was the most gorgeous day! We had absolutely beautiful golden light and summer-like weather and Discovery Park in Seattle offers some of the most versatile and diverse backgrounds in the area. I loved the variety that Emma planned for her outfits and her styling was beautiful and natural. This session is a great one to look at if you need ideas for your own senior pictures!
A perfect blend of senior picture outfits
Emma did a fantastic job selecting her outfits for her session. I like to encourage seniors to plan on a range of styles from more casual up to more dressy. This senior included jeans and a top, a white sundress, and a long floral sundress. She also included different shoes for each (sandals, boots, and tennis shoes). The result was an amazing mix and lots of variety in her final gallery.
Discovery Park location
Discovery Park in Seattle is giant and has a ton of different backgrounds to choose from. It’s definitely one of my favorite places for senior pictures because we never run out of new areas to check out. We chose to explore both the upper and lower park. Emma ended up with a pretty mix of dry tall grass, open fields, the bluff with water views, the lighthouse, and beach. I really love how diverse and pretty her final gallery turned out!
