I’m in love with these gorgeous Snohomish flower field and horse farm senior photos! This Mercer Island High School senior is near and dear to my heart! Ava rides at the same farm as me, and I was so excited to be able to capture some special moments of her with her horse and then at a nearby flower farm. And she is the sweetest girl in the world! So much fun to spend a little time with.
Senior pictures with horses and dogs are some of my absolute favorites! Photoshoots with pets naturally take on a more laid back and fun vibe. We never know what will happen, natural smiles are easier, and things move more quickly. No time to get too worried about posing perfectly. Ava’s horse Callen is a gem! He was so happy to graze and enjoy a snack during our session. Some horses will keep their head up and allow us to pose them nicely. Others will tow us through the grass to get that perfect bite! In this case, Callen was happy as long as his meal wasn’t interrupted.
The flower field portion of Ava’s photoshoot was at Scattered Seeds, about ten minutes from the farm. This is one of my favorite locations of all time. You can’t ask for a more colorful variety of flowers, beautifully maintained nursery, pond area, swinging bench, and semi-private appointments. We got some stunning photos of Ava in the garden! I hope she love them as much as I do.
