A big trend I’m loving this year!

Over the last couple of years, I have been seeing more high school seniors who arrive at their session with books to use as a prop. And I am completely in love with the trend! Not only does it look fantastic in photos, but it can be a subtle way to convey something about you.

What I love about books as a senior session prop:

• They can be coordinated with your looks by selecting colors and textures that work with your outfit.
• If you get nervous with posing, books give you something to hold, look at, and create a scene with.

• Bring a book that you love from childhood as you capture the transition from high school to the world beyond.
• Books add a nostalgic, cinematic look to images.
