I love every image in the gallery from this gorgeous portrait session in Seattle with an Issaquah High School senior. What a beautiful early fall day we had! From the Olympic Sculpture Park to the waterfront, it was edgy and fun from start to finish.
If you are considering the month of September for your senior session, it’s a great timing choice. Issaquah has one of the earlier yearbook deadlines, so Alexandra snuck in on the last day available for a school with an October deadline. I’m so glad we were able to make it work!
Urban photoshoots are one location that can look amazing during most months of the year. I love that we had some bright fall color for Alexandra, but the skyline and waterfront looks great without it as well. Olympic Sculpture Park is a fun spot to add into an urban shoot. There are a lot of fantastic backgrounds and areas to explore. And the Seattle waterfront is so much fun. The water, ferris wheel, boats, piers, and skyline add a lot of interest to your gallery.
This senior wanted a casual style that reflected her personality. She started with a sweater and jeans and then changed her top to a great bodysuit and vest. Although she had another outfit option, she decided she loved the look she was in and skipped her final outfit. Even if you have plenty of time for an outfit change, it’s perfectly fine to stay in a look you love! I’m happy Alexandra went with comfort and authenticity. I think it was a great choice for her.
