Issaquah High School Senior Photos at the River and Lavender Farm

I had such a great time with Issaquah High School senior Felixia and her family for her river and lavender flower farm senior photos. It was one of my favorites of the season! She really wanted some scenic images with Mount Si in the background, as well as wildflower and lavender photos. In order to get both, we started in the North Bend area along the river. There is a perfect spot with the best river rock, lighting, and shot of the mountain. From there, we drove to Woodinville for some stunning lavender and wildflower photos. I love this flower farm for it’s wide variety, open spaces, and colorful blooms.

Issaquah High School has one of the earliest yearbook deadlines, so Felixia and her family did a great job booking early. Depending on your deadline, you might have more flexibility and be able to choose your session date based on your favorite season or how a location will look. Both of these locations are ideal for this type of look during the first half of July. The lavender is at the most colorful point, greens are bright, and the water at the river is still high enough to look showy in photos. This entire gallery was gorgeous. Full of variety and color. And Felixia’s outfit choices worked perfectly with her locations.

This senior session included a family add-on. This is a convenient way to update your family album. Your senior is already outfit shopping and likely getting hair and makeup done. So it’s easy to select some family outfits that coordinate with one of the senior selections. My family add-ons are a quick 15 minutes. This works well for siblings or parents who aren’t too excited about family photos.
