For an adventurous couple who love spending time outdoors, a wedding on Whidbey Island in the early fall was a fairytale. With friends and family flying in from around the globe, these two couldn’t wait to share what they love about the Pacific Northwest. And, as a PNW wedding photographer, this wedding was a dream to be a part of.
Michelle and Wyatt were engaged at Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya in Barcelona, after a whirlwind romance. With navy life thrown into the mix, the two got right to work planning an incredibly special affair. And it was a beautifully planned day from start to finish. Highlights included a tearful first look with both Michelle’s father and the groom, a heartfelt ceremony officiated by the groom’s stepfather, fresh oysters during cocktail hour (the bride’s first time trying them!), locally sourced and prepared dinner, a festive photo booth for candid moments, and a packed dance floor all night. It was clear that everyone enjoyed an epic day.
Whidbey Island weddings at Crockett Farms offers some of the most beautiful iconic Pacific Northwest views. And it provided a stunning backdrop for both classic portraits and candid, documentary wedding moments. The venue is both rustic and sophisticated. It embraces the charm and natural beauty of the Washington island. Michelle and Wyatt’s special day gave guests a glimpse of how stunning the PNW can be.
