This session with an Issaquah High School Senior, had some of the most stunning sunset photos at the beach. Sunsets at Discovery Park are always amazing, but this one had a little extra color. I always get nervous in August when smoke starts showing up in the air. But just a little haze can add some soft color and an extra warm glow.
We started our session at the upper area of the park for Peyton’s casual jeans outfit. Then we moved on to the open fields and sweet peas. It was late in the season for the wildflowers, but we still managed to find a few patches of color. And it worked beautifully with Peyton’s white dress. From there, it was on to the beach for driftwood, sand, the lighthouse, and some wading in the water. Every outfit choice that this senior made worked incredibly well for her and the location.
It was a gorgeous session from start to finish. And I love that Peyton’s family joined her for a mini family session add on at the end. It was the perfect opportunity for the family to update their photo album and wall art and get some great images for holiday cards.
